Volunteer Waiver

Thank you for volunteering to help Houses into Homes! Please read the following waiver and volunteer policies, then sign by typing your name at the bottom.

This agreement releases Houses into Homes from all liability relating to injuries that may occur during the moving of furniture, beds, and household item(s) (inventory); cleaning or fixing inventory; and transporting inventory. By signing this agreement, I agree to hold Houses into Homes entirely free from any liability, including financial responsibility for injuries incurred, regardless of whether injuries are caused by negligence.

I also acknowledge the risks involved in the moving of furniture, beds, and household item(s) (inventory); cleaning or fixing inventory; and transporting inventory. These include but are not limited to injury, exposure to allergens, dehydration, and seasonal outdoor exposure (sunburn, windburn, frostbite). I am participating voluntarily, and all risks have been made clear to me. Additionally, I do not have any conditions that will increase my likelihood of experiencing injuries while engaging in this activity.

By signing below, I forfeit all right to bring a suit against Houses into Homes or Servpro for any reason. I will also make every effort to follow safety precautions. By signing below, I also agree to maintain confidentiality about the individuals and families who receive items from Houses into Homes and about any donations.

If you will be driving your own vehicle, we will need a copy of your car insurance card. We can scan this when you arrive to volunteer, or you can email a copy to volunteer@housesintohomes.org
