Looking for books and toys!

Yesterday we had a great time providing full furnishes for three awesome families in our community! We had a rare opportunity to take before and after photos in one home we were particularly excited to furnish—mom has a love of gray, elephants, and bright paintings. We were also able to provide she (and others) with beautiful dining tables and chairs. BIG thank you to our donors, who continue to fill our warehouse with such lovely and diverse donations—these allow us to offer comfort AND joy to our neighbors and friends, with every delivery we complete. As always, our sincerest gratitude to our regular volunteers, who’ve worked tirelessly this summer in the stifling heat, to help take care of our community members in need. 💪🏾🛏🛋🧡

P.S. Please spread the word that we are low on toys and books for all ages (we’ve given so many with COVID stay-at-home circumstances), family games, crib sheets, mini tool kits, as well as wall art and decor! We would love to have some dolls and action figures donated who have darker skin tones, especially. While some of these may seem unnecessary, these extra touches are quite meaningful to the children and adults we serve. We often hear after delivering that a family favorite is to play a game together at the kitchen table. 😊🧡 You may drop off donations to our warehouse, or we will gladly pick them up!
